Yolanda Castillo 62 of Lorenzo passed away November 19, 2017. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo. Burial will follow in the Idalou Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. A Rosary will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at San Lorenzo Catholic Church of Lorenzo.

Yolanda was born on November 6, 1955 in Pharr, Texas to Francisco and Dominga Pompa Gonzales. She married Felipe Castillo on April 16, 1971 in Edinberg. She loved getting her family together and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church and loved making people laugh and always had smile on her face and a meal for whoever came by hungry.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Felipe Castillo of Lorenzo, three daughters; Diana Hernandez of Lorenzo, Lisa Hernandez of Lorenzo, Rebecca Landin of Lubbock, two sons; Felipe Castillo Jr. of Lorenzo, Gilbert Lee Castillo of Lorenzo, one brother; Benito Gonzales of Pharr, Texas, four sisters; Olivia Longoria of San Juan, Texas, Fernanda Osuna of Anton, Janie Perez of Pharr, Texas, Panchita Salinas of McAllen, seventeen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
