William (Bill) Hollingsworth, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at his residence in Ralls, Texas, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 27, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas, Bill grew up in Amarillo, graduating from Amarillo High School in 1978 and attended Amarillo College. He married the love of his life, Sylvia Garcia, on February 14, 1992, in Lubbock, TX. Throughout his life, Bill worked as a telecommunications Technician. He was also a man of all trades, with many talents. He could fix just about anything. However, his true passions lay elsewhere. An avid outdoorsman, Bill loved fishing and spending time at the ranch with his family. His compassion extended to all animals, and he found joy in feeding the cows and caring for stray animals. His loyal companion, Gizmo, held a special place in his heart. Above all he always had a caring nature for anyone who needed help. He was there to give back to others. Bill's faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was deeply committed to his church, United Abernathy. At the time of his passing, he was preparing to become a deacon. Despite facing significant health challenges, Bill demonstrated remarkable resilience and positivity, inspiring those around him with his courage and determination.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Hollingsworth; daughters, Jamie Hollingsworth, and Kristen Robles (David); son, Daniel Hollingsworth (Jeremy); step-mother, Lovella Hollingsworth;  daughter in law, Courtney; sisters Beverly Altsman, Susan Sandel (David) and Katrina Manning; brother, Keith Totty (Kerrie); granddaughters, Kinsley, Loralie, Isabella, Kambry, Klaire; grandsons, Kaden, Zaden, and Kelby.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gene and Betty; grandparents, Loretta and Osra; brother, Kevin Totty;  and son, Kyle Hollingsworth.
