William Cecil "W.C." Garver, 88, Of Crosbyton, TX passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 23, 1935 in Big Spring, Texas to William Clayton Garver and Willie McElroy Garver. He proudly served his country in both the U.S. Air force and the Marines. He married Joan Bodman on April 21, 1957 in Glendale, CA. W.C. was a retired barber. Prior to that, he was a truck driver for several years, and was the former owner and operator of Snyder Iron and Metal in Snyder, TX. He loved his dogs, gardening, travelling with Joan and going to casinos.

W.C. is survived by his wife, Joan Garver of Crosbyton; Son, Robert and Katrina Garver of Lake Butler, FL; Daughter, Roseann and Benjie Smith of Crosbyton; Sister, Patricia Sumerau of Jacksonville, AR; Seven grandchildren, Eighteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Son, David Garver; Grandson, Michael Birmelin; Sisters, Carolyn Garver, Sue Eichelsderfer and June Mayhall; and brother, Robert Earl Garver.
