Wildred Leon Matheny 81 of Lubbock was called home to his heavenly home on June 1, 2019. He was born on October 18, 1937, in Lubbock to W.E. Matheny and Nova Beeslinger.  Services for Mr. Matheny will be on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel in Ralls, Texas.

Wildred served in the U.S. Army as a First Class Private.  He owned and operated West Texas Pest Control for 25 years.  He was a very loving and caring husband and father.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed watching western movies.

Wildred is survived by his wife of 15 years, Patricia Nelson Matheny; daughters Wendy Matheny of Temple, Kristina Geisler of Amarillo and Elizabeth Peralta of Lubbock; his sons Leslie Matheny of Oklahoma City, Ok, Gary Geisler, Anthony Geisler and Justin Geisler of Lubbock; his sister Joyce Young of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
