Wesley Hoyt Cox's Obituary
Wesley Cox passed away peacefully on April 9th with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. Wes was one of 7 children born to Gilbert Monroe Cox and Lilly Lou Ethel Dudley in Savage Texas on May 10th 1935.
He lived his early life picking cotton and went on to own several service stations and a very successful firewood business. His favorite hobby was fishing! He loved nothing more than being at the lake and fishing.
Wesley is survived by his daughter, Alicia Schmidt, her husband Jeff, granddaughter Madison Dorn and grandson, Dylan Ringer as well as his older brother Joe, sisters—Lula Mae, Lorene and Mary and many beloved nieces and nephews.
