Wendell Ray Sanders 85, of Lubbock, passed away quietly on Thursday December 1, 2022. Wendell was born October 31, 1937 in McKinney, Texas to Homer and Opal Sanders. He married Patricia Wade Sanders on September 14, 1972 in Lubbock, Texas. Wendell was a mechanic and carpenter. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 through 1958 and was an avid golfer and fisherman.
A memorial service will be held Saturday December 17, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Adams Funeral Home, Ralls,Texas, burial will follow at the Ralls Cemetery.
Wendell is survived by his sisters; Lula Renshaw, Linda Beshirs, and Rita Fudge, brothers; Carl and Lynn Sanders. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Sanders, parents Homer and Opal Sanders, sisters Francine Sanders and Tressa Donathan, and brother Bobby Sanders.
