Vera Norene Woodard

November 26, 1928 ~ November 25, 2019

Vera Norene Woodard, affectionately known as "Moo", passed away peacefully at her home Monday November 25, 2019 one day shy of her 91 ^st birthday in the company of loving family. Friends and family are welcome to a visitation Friday November 29 ^th at 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls, with services to take place at First Baptist Church Lorenzo Saturday November 30 ^th at 11 a.m.

Norene was born November 26, 1928, in Snyder, TX, to Leilan and Nola Caddell. She attended school at Caprock and then at Robertson, where she graduated. For over 50 years, she and her husband, Eugene Woodard, were engaged in farming in Crosby County. In addition to raising 4 children, "Moo" was instrumental in shaping the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those she came in contact with, having volunteered in the nursery at First Baptist Church of Lorenzo for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Woodard, parents Leilan and Nola Caddell, sister Lenora Caddell, brother Delton Caddell, son Randy Woodard, and daughter Janice Williams.

Survivors include her children; Sandra Fiel of Lubbock, Larry Woodard of Ralls, fourteen grandchildren; Jeremy Fiel, Nathan Fiel, Angela Wichman, Lisa Leech, Laura Dominguez, Chloe Woodard, Phillip Williams, Rebecca Sheely, Paul Woodard, Benjamin Woodard, Jared Woodard, Seth Woodard, and Evangeline Woodard, and twelve great-grandchildren; Sage Wichman, Macy Forbes, Kaycee Leech, Lane Williams, Heath Williams, Emma Williams, Isaiah Rodriguez, Novalyne Dominguez, Arturo Alvarado, Aubrie Alvarado, Nadya Alvarado, and Declan Sheely.
