Tony Lara 59 of Ralls passed away December 29, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Combest Funeral Home Chapel in Tahoka. Burial will follow in the Tahoka Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. There will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

Tony was born March 6, 1959 in Roswell New Mexico to Leonard and Virginia Vasquez Lara.  He married Beatrice Sepeda on November 9, 1975 in Tahoka .Tony loved being with his family, spending time with them and enjoying their company especially his grandchildren. He farmed for over 40 years and loved NASCAR, Fords, John Deere Tractors, and especially his guns.

Tony is survived by his wife Beatrice, a son Anthony Lara of Ralls, four daughters; Teresa Sims of Hereford, Stephanie Lara of Lubbock, Charsey Coleman of Lubbock, Sheena Portillo of Hereford, two brothers; Joe Lara of Tahoka, Raymond Lara of Tahoka, two sisters; Susie Sosa of Tahoka, Virginia Quintero of Tahoka. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren.
