He was preceded in death by his siblings Jose Gonzales, Eluterio Gonzales, Elicia Gonzales, Israel Gonzales, Ignacio Gonzales, and Martin Gonzales.
He is survived by his brothers Guadalupe Gonzales and Tony Gonzales, and his sister Janie Gonzales. Tobias was the devoted husband of Norma Esqueda Gonzales, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to JoAnn Gonzales (preceded in death), Brenda Valenzuela (Juan), and his son Toby Ray Gonzales (Dr. Barbara). In addition to his calling as a pastor, he also worked for the Yoakum County Precent 2, a job he deeply loved and took great pride in.
Tobias will be deeply missed by his family, his church communities, and all who were blessed by his life and his work for our Lord and Savior.
The family would like to sincerely thank everyone for the kind words, prayers, and sweet gestures of love and support they have received during this time.
