Teresa Rodriguez Zundt, 67, of Crosbyton passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born on July 12, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Daniel and Teresa (Hernandez) Rodriguez. She married Juan Jose Zundt Sr. on April 17, 1966 in Crosbyton. Teresa loved fishing, quilting, and crocheting and cherished her dog, Zoey. She loved children and treasured the time she spent doting on her grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Teresa Rodriguez; her husband, Juan Jose Zundt Sr.; two brothers, Jimmy and Billy Rodriguez; and four sisters; Anita Sandoval, Concepcion Flores, Louisa Flores, and Josie Minor.

She is survived by her daughter; Melva Zundt Jackson and husband Steve of Stedman, N.C.; two sons; Juan Jose Zundt Jr. and wife Norma of Crosbyton; Corey Lee Zundt and wife Robbie of Odessa, TX; her brother, Domingo Rodriguez of California; five sisters; Brigida Canales of Ralls; Francis Salas of Lubbock; Ramona Salas of Crosbyton; Lupe Rivera of Graham; and Sarah Vigil of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; Juan Jose III, Timothy, Austin, Zane, and Hailie Zundt; Trevor Hudnall; Brandon Shumaker; four great-grandchildren; Aliah, Mathayus, Tyson and Titus Zundt.

Rosary will be held 7 pm on Tuesday, April 5 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Funeral mass will be held 10 am Wednesday, April 6, at San Jose Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
