Sylvia Antuna, 74, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Sylvia, lovingly known as "Shea", was born October 2, 1950, to Macario and Diamantina (Perez) Antuna in Poth, Texas. She attended school in Ralls, TX and graduated in 1969. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1973 with her degree in Marketing. Sylvia was a long-time resident of Lubbock and was a loving, caring sister, aunt, and friend.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Augustin Antuna, sisters Rebecca Antuna Gonzalez and Elizabeth Antuna Saenz, and a great-great niece Anacelia Harkey.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Mike (Lora) Gonzalez, Kelly Antuna, Donna (Johnny) Cantu, Renee Antuna, Mace (Kelsey) Saenz, and Anais (Chris) Ortiz, as well as 12 great nieces and nephews: Tesla (Taylor), Eden (Jose), Thalia (Nicole), Stephen, Dallyn, Brock, Courtney, Ayden, Ashley, Ithan, Aiden, and Jacob; and 4 great-great nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Elijah, Oliver, and Luna. She is also survived by sister-in-law Carlis Antuna and brother-in-law Leo Saenz.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at True Life Church, 5426 50th in Lubbock, with Rev. Rosalie Collins officiating.
