Sybil Louise Voigt, 97, of Lubbock, and formerly of Crosbyton passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born December 18, 1924 in Lynn County, TX to Wallace and Zora Hallmark White.

After high school, Sybil attended Draughon's Business College. She married Leroy Walter Voigt on January 6, 1946 in Clovis, NM.  They moved to Crosbyton in 1964. Sybil worked as the Crosbyton school secretary for many years. She was a very active member of First United Methodist Church in Crosbyton where she was a member of the Methodist Women. She was a also a member of the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital Auxiliary, Crosbyton Garden Club, and Crosbyton Care Center Auxiliary. She also served as director of Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce and was once named Crosbyton woman of the year.

Sybil is survived by two sons, Dennis Voigt of Corpus Christi and Terry Voigt of Lubbock; three daughters, Nancy Gallimore of Princeton, TX, Roinell Westbury and husband Randy of McKinney, and Paula Elky of Brownwood; Sister-in-law, Shirley White of Ropes; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Ronnie Voigt; and three brothers, Travis, Glenn and Petty White.
