Susie (Ontiberoz) Flores, 79, of Lubbock passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born to Juan and Consuelo (Flores) Ontiberoz on January 3, 1937 in Rosebud, Texas. She married Benito Flores in Lubbock, Texas in April of 1958. Susie was a huge supporter and fan of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. She loved sewing, knitting, and enjoyed working hard in her yard and at her job.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Benito; and her daughter; Bernadine Flores.

Susie is survived by her daughter, Beatrice Rodela of Lubbock; three brothers; Johnny, Edward, and Richard Ontiberoz; six sisters; Josie Sandoval, Mary Lou Revilla, Henrietta Deleon, Eugenia Esquivel, Connie Corralez, and Margie Garcia; eight grandchildren; forty-seven great –grandchildren.
A rosary will be held 7 pm Sunday, January 10th and Monday January 11th at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Funeral mass will be 10 am Tuesday, January 12 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock, with burial to follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
