Susan (Stone) Thrasher, 59, of Ralls, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born November 19, 1957 in Memphis, Texas to Bobby Ray and Ruby Evelyn (Auston) Stone. Susan married James Harold "Pork" Thrasher on November 15, 1974 in Ralls and they were married for 35 wonderful years until his passing on February 19, 2010. Susan lived most of her life in Ralls and was employed as a home health aide in Crosby County for over twenty years. She loved to travel and sew. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bob and Ruby Stone; and her husband James Harold Thrasher.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters; Chana Rodriguez and husband Roy of Ralls; Shelly Bucher and husband Pete of Des Moines, Iowa; her sister; Theresa McCauley and husband Larry Dale of Ralls; her two brothers; Carl Taylor and wife Bobbie of Ralls; Jimmy Stone and wife Lana of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; Darcee Soto, Dancee Van De Valde, Dayn Van De Valde; and four great-grandchildren; Addison, Jon, Sydnee, and Rielee Soto.

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, December 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Ralls, with Rev. Chris McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas under the care of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday, December 8, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
