Shirley Joan Dewbre, 81, of Lubbock passed away Monday, October 4, 2021.
Joan was born July 24, 1940 in Crosby County, Texas to Raymond and Inez Lochridge Foy. She attended Ralls High School and Wayland Baptist University. She married Jimmy Lewis Dewbre on June 1, 1956 in the Farmer Community in Crosby County. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1980. Joan was a dietary manager for many years. She enjoyed going to Ruidoso, NM. She loved cooking, baking and family get togethers, especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Dewbre of Lubbock; two daughters, Vickie Dewbre and Courtney Timms both of Lubbock; two sisters, Nancy Upchurch of Ralls and Jean Garringer (Gary) of Moody, TX; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter, Shirley Daphene Dewbre, and one sister Linda Bales
