Shirley Craze, 89, of Lubbock, peacefully passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 02, 2025. She was born February 20, 1936, in Crosbyton to John and Quay Stockton McDuff. She married Bob Craze on September 8, 1951, in Crosbyton. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage together. Shirley was a cosmetologist/hairdresser in her early years, then she and Bob owned and operated Craze Construction working side by side for several years. Shirley was a member of Trinity Church in Lubbock. She loved spending time with her family gathered around great home cooking and laughter. Her favorite hobby was quilting and embroidering with close friends, and of course, buying new fabric.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Craze of Crowell, TX and Trenia Harris and husband Gary of Lubbock: five grandchildren, Timothy Harris, Zachary Harris and wife Emily, Shanan Cogburn and wife Sarah, Audra Lightfoot and Will Cogburn and wife Jasmine. She is also survived by five great- and five great-great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Tina Craze, one brother, George McDuff and one sister, Charlotte Potts.
The family suggests memorials to Operation Blessing in Shirley's memory.
