Seferina Sarinana Tarin, 74, of Ralls passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in Crosbyton. She was born August 26, 1941 in Durango, Mexico to Francisco and Elodia (Contreras) Sarinana. Seferina was a hard worker, who was always willing to lend a hand to help people. She was an extremely loving mother and grandmother and was an incredibly humble person.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Francisco and Elodia Sarinana; her daughter; Norma Tarin; and two brothers.

Seferina is survived by her three daughters; Bertha Leon of Ralls; Patricia Chacon of California; Maria Baca of Ralls; her five sons; Tony Sarinana of Ralls; Johnny Tarin of Idalou; David Tarin Jr. of Lubbock; Damien Andrew Contreras of Virginia; and Jessie Contreras Jr. of Lubbock; two sisters; Margarita Sarinana of Lamesa; Maria Louisa Luna of Andrews; three brothers; Pedro Sarinana of Fort Hancock, TX; Heriberto Sarinana of Mexico; Jose Luis Sarinana of Andrews; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, July 26, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 27, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with burial following in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
