Savanna Rai Payne, 7, of Ralls passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born June 22, 2008 in Lynchburg, VA. to Eric and Karisa Layer Payne. She was always a happy girl no matter what life threw her way. She loved the water, watching movies and going to school, when she was able to attend. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

She is preceded in death by two brothers; Clayton Eugene Payne and Andrew Michael Bradley; her maternal grandfather, Eugene Layer; her paternal grandfather, Bobby Payne.

Savanna is survived by her mother, Karisa Layer Payne of Ralls; her father, Eric Payne of Alta Vista,VA; her brother, Cason Byrd of Ralls; her two sisters, Amanda and Kelsy Payne both of Alta Vista, VA; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Payne of Alta Vista VA; and her maternal grandmother, Patsy Layer of Ralls.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 7, from 6-7 pm at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, March 8, at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, with burial following in Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
