Sandra Jewell Gage, 74, of Dickens went to be with her Lord on September 16, 2015. She was born on May 1, 1941 to Chandler and Iva Lena Smith in Paducah,Texas. In June of 1971, Sandra married the love of her life, Monroe Gage in Knox City, Texas. Sandra was a hardworking woman, an animal enthusiast, and loved tending to her garden.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Chandler and Iva Lena (Woodward) Smith, and her son, Jerry David Compton.

Sandra is survived by her husband; Monroe Gage of Dickens; her step-daughter; Nancy Roberts and husband Larry of Roaring Springs; three step-grandchildren; Jerry Long and wife Jan; Jelene Timmins and husband Rick; Janeile Eddleman; ten great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene in Dickens, with Rev. Marvin West officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Dumont Cemetery or Dumont Community Center.
