Sammie Jay (Beck) Logsdon, 73, of Ralls passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015. She was born August 1, 1942 in Cone, Texas to J.P. and Kitty (Shoemaker) Beck. Sammie married Al Logsdon in Lubbock on August 25, 1967. Sammie greatly enjoyed Facebook and loved spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and treasured her Ruidoso, NM and Laughlin, NV trips.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Al; daughter, Kelly Jo McCauley; and sister, Charlotte Campbell.

Sammie is survived by her daughter; Kathy McCauley of Lubbock; her son Timothy Logsdon of Ralls; her sister; Alice Parker Kelso of Ralls; and two grandsons; Derek Chase McCauley of Laguna Hills, CA; Jeffrey Alan Trojacek of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm Tuesday, November 24 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Graveside services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, November 25, at Ralls Cemetery with Lloyd Castle officiating.
