Ruth Amelia Meehan, 86, of Lorenzo passed away February 28, 2024. She was born January 23, 1938, in Dover, New York to Percy and Grace Hoose. Ruth was very active in church and Salvation Army. She loved country and gospel music and she also loved visiting with her friends and family. Ruth will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Sharon Welch and Mary Carter, and by ten sibling

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lila Crandell, Esther Green, Ada Green, Percy Green, and Eddie Green. She also leaves behind her brother, Roger Hoose, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9th @ the Lorenzo First Baptist Church @ 10:00 AM.
