Ruth Dixon 79 of Littlefield passed away November 9, 2017. A Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Crescent Park Church of Christ in Littlefield. Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lorenzo Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Ruth was born October 6, 1938 in Pauls Valley, OK to John and Sylvia Walker Cox. She married Dewayne Dixon in Littlefield, TX on June 6, 2004. Ruth was a Christian woman and enjoyed crafting. She was very loving to everyone but had a special kind of love for her grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in death by her grandson Sye Sue and great-grandson Jeffrey Swanson.

She is survived by her husband Dewayne of Littlefield, her two daughters; Debbie Merrill and husband Quintin of Lorenzo, Mellony Timmons and Jeff Dunn of Ralls, and her son Ricky Dale Timmons and wife Jelene of Akerly, her mother Sylvia Cox of Sweetwater, TX, her brothers; Jerry Cox of Cloud Croft, NM and Terry Cox of Waterford, CA, her sisters; Charlene Heath of Sweetwater, TX and Linda Dungan of Ft.
