Ruby Gail Pevey, 63, of Idalou passed away on June 11, 2022 at her residence.  She was born March 30, 1959 in Lubbock, TX to Elmer and Nelda McCauley Pevey. Ruby enjoyed crafting and growing flowers. She also enjoyed helping others, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ruby is survived by one son, Jesus Bentancourt and wife Bobbie of Lubbock; one daughter, Christina Mickley and husband Michael of Idalou; one brother, Rick Pevey and wife Carol of Lubbock; two sisters, Diane Sue and husband Floyd of Ralls, and Glenda Maroney of Honey Grove, TX; and six grandchildren, Dylan Mickley, Chloe Bentancourt, Madison Mickley, Kaitlyn Bentancourt, Ava Mickley and Gabriella Bentancourt

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gary Pevey and Elmer Dale Pevey, and two sisters Barbara Sue James and Shelly Pevey.
