Rubert Ray Marsh 89 formally of Ralls, Texas left this earth to be with the Lord July 14, 2021. Ray was born May 4, 1932, in Crosby County Texas to James Rubert and Lillian Vaile Porter Marsh. He graduated from Ralls High School and from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business Administration. Ray proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean conflict. Upon returning home he met and married Shirley Ann Worsham on April 26, 1957. After farming many years Ray worked at Gene Messer Ford in Lubbock as the New Truck Manager until he retired.

Ray loved the Lord and taught Sunday School many years at First Baptist Church of Ralls. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was an avid golfer and fisherman always up for a trip to do either. One of Ray's great joys was to make folks laugh. Few people walked away from conversation with Ray without sharing a good chuckle.

Ray was preceded in death by his father 1964, his mother 1985; his son, Randal Ray Marsh 1977, Richard Lane Marsh 2010; his sisters, Elwanda Marsh Cox 2013, Gwendolyn Marsh McDuff 2014, and Faye Marsh Stevens 2018.

Ray is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters, Diane and Wade McMullen of Ft. Worth, TX, Reanae and Byron Berry of Rosston, TX; son Rusty and Soledad Marsh of Lubbock, TX; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 18, at the Rosston Church 264 CR 362, Rosston, Texas.
