Rosa Maria Calzada 64 of Lorenzo passed away Saturday October 14, 2023. Rosa was born June 30, 1959 in Lubbock Texas to Pedro and Manuela Guerrero Calzada. She worked for Wal-Mart for 39 years, when she wasn't working she enjoyed being with her animals, and family.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Peter Daniel Calzada and Florencio G. Calzada.

Rosa leaves behind; one son Marcos Nix of Lubbock, two brothers, Jesse and Fernando Calzada both of Lorenzo.

Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 19, 2023 at the San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo. Burial will follow in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. A rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the same church.
