Robert "Floyd" Sue, 83, of Lorenzo went to his heavenly home, Saturday, November 5, 2016. He was born to John Thomas and Sally Mae (Smith) Sue in Winnsboro, Texas on August 16, 1933. In 1950, he moved with his family to Floydada, Texas. He married Betty Juanell "Nell" Baker on June 29, 1952 in Floydada, and they were married for 62 wonderful years before her passing on August 11, 2014. Floyd and Nell made their home in Ralls in the early 70's and owned and operated Sue and Sons Trucking in Lorenzo. Floyd was a member of Emma Church of Christ in Ralls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nell; three sons; Thomas, Lloyd, and an infant son; his grandson, Sy Sue; great-granddaughter Alissa Faith Lopez; two brothers; William Oscar and Henry Forrest " Buddy" Sue; and two sisters; Nancy Christine "Sue" Nobles and Verna Lee Sewell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters; Linda Wallace and husband Dale of Ralls; Lori Crump and husband Dale of Ralls; Loretta Velez and husband Ray of Spur; three sons; Floyd Sue and wife Diane of Ralls; Roy Sue and wife Pam of Lubbock; Bill Sue and wife Suzanna of Ralls; daughter-in-law Suzie Sue of Ralls; his sister; Iren Rushing of Winnsboro; his brother; Johnny Bill Sue of Floydada; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls, with Tim Mills officiating and Rev. T.J. Messer assisting. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, November 10 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
