Rita Helen Powell, 85 of Crosbyton passed away Wednesday August 4, 2021 in Jacksboro, Texas. She was born June 9, 1936 in McAdoo, Texas to Otto Ratheal and Mary Lois Henderson.  She married the love of her life Willie Dean Powell in 1956.

She worked as a bank teller for 50 years; she served as the Vice President at Security Bank and managed at the Crosbyton Branch. Rita had such a giving heart and was a great person. She will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Michelle Wilson, and her brother Roy Ratheal.

Those left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Jessie Nicole Brown, and 2 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at the Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton, Texas on Monday August 9, at 2:00 p.m.

Services are under the care of Adams Funeral Home.
