Richard Pena, Sr., 60, of Idalou went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. Richard was born October 21, 1962 in Spur, TX to Macario "Mike" Pena, Sr. and Celia Cantu.

Ricky worked for many years in Floydada at Ray Reed Ford as a certified Ford mechanic, and later for 30 years at Wal-Mart as the Lube Tech Manager in Cedar Park. In 2013 Ricky moved to Idalou to be closer to his mom.

He was preceded in death by his father Mike Pena, Sr. and one granddaughter.

Ricky leaves behind his mom Sally Garcia of Ralls; two daughters, April (Matt) Sanders of Snyder, TX and Tracy (Terrance) Pena of Austin; one son, Ricky (Kyndal) Pena of Austin; three brothers, Mike Pena of Ralls, Chris Pena of Lubbock and T.O. Pena of Idalou; four sisters, Rose Marie (Rudy) Urbina of Edmonson, Donna (Tino) Gomez of Plainview, Anne (Javier) Hernandez of Lubbock and Carey Garcia of Ralls; nine grandchildren, Jordyn, Kassadie, Devin, Jourdin, Jaiden and Jace of Snyder, and Trenity, Tristian and Imara Pena all of Austin; 20 nieces and nephews; several great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts and uncles to cherish his memory.
