Rene Lery Perry Riley was born in Orr, Oklahoma on January 5, 1920 to Benjamin and Lery Perry.  She passed on November 10th in Crosbyton, Texas at the age of 100.  She married the love of her life, Olen Riley on November 22, 1936 in Orr, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma she had two sons and in 1954 moved to Crosbyton, Texas where she had her third son.

Rene was preceded in death by her husband Olen and three infant daughters.

She is survived by her three sons, Jimmy and Judy Riley of Georgetown Texas, Lavoice and Geneva Riley of Lubbock Texas, and Curtis Riley of Crosbyton Texas. She adored her nine grandchildren, Steve Riley, Tammy Marshall, Whitney Bridges, Natalie Denson, Jeff Riley, Jennifer Ahrens, Crystal Riley, Derek Riley and Corey Riley. She also had 19 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She loved being "Mawmaw" to all of them.
