Rebecca Hinojosa passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on September 22, 1927, in Mercedes, TX to Natividad and Maria Loya Munoz.
She married the love of her life, Uvaldo Hinojosa, in March of 1953. Aside from being a loving homemaker, she also owned and operated a Daycare in Crosbyton for 17 years. Although she did not attend mass weekly, she prayed her rosary daily and made sure she always had plenty of candles to have one lit at all times.
Rebecca is survived by one daughter, Blanca Garcia of Crosbyton; one brother, Rogelio Munoz of Plano; three grandchildren, Amy Garcia, Amber Garcia and Adam Garcia; six great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ashton, Natalia, Alejandro, Gavin and Madden; and two great-great-grandchildren, Keane and Kai.
