Peggy Nell Jordan Ellison, 79, of Crosbyton passed away October 19, 2021. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Peggy was born February 10, 1942 in Lubbock, TX to Ferris and Ruth Benton Jordan. She graduated from Crosbyton High School and then married her sweetheart Donald Clyde Ellison on October 20, 1960 in Crosbyton; he passed away on November 20, 2020.

After getting married she started her long career as a farmer's wife/farmer lasting 60 years. Peggy was also a homemaker (her greatest job), a florist, the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce manager and an assistant at the Crosby County Library. She served on the Crosby County FSA Committee as an advisor and the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital District Board. Peggy loved to read, sew, bake and study God's word. She taught Sunday school for years. Peggy was a faithful Christian, a faithful loving wife, a wonderful mom, a fantastic grandmom and great-grandmom, and a sweet sister and aunt.

Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Jones (Gary) of Wolfforth, TX and Trixie Henn (Steve) of Crosbyton, TX; eight grandchildren, Miranda Bloodworth (A.J.), Cole Jones (Abbie), Kendra Cates (Mitchell), Chloe Henn, Keenan Henn (Kimie), Eli Henn (Marlee), Isaiah Henn and Kenley Henn; nine great-grandchildren, Swayzee Henn, Teagan Bloodworth, Maycee Bloodworth, Cannon Jones, Dylan Bloodworth, Caroline Jones, Kurt Henn, Jaycee Cates and Kel Henn; and three brothers, Gary Jordan (Carolyn), Eddie Jordan (Margaret) and Charley Jordan (Brenda).

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Jerry Jordan and Tracy Jordan.
