Paul Travis Dougles, 70, of Lorenzo passed away July 24, 2023 with his family by his side. Paul was born August 3, 1952 in Marlin, Texas.  Paul married Lynda Ware on December 23, 1969 in Mexico.  They spent 53 wonderful years together.  He loved woodworking, being outdoors, and feeding his animals.  He was a very loving and caring man and will be missed by all who knew him.

Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Knight.

Those left to cherish his memory are; his wife, three daughters; Jana Tischler of Linden, Kristi Wallace of Lorenzo, and Karla Curtis of Lubbock, seven grandchildren: Alec Wallace, Ryan Wallace, Bailey Young, Dusty Tischler, Devin Curtis, Conner Curtis, and Kennedy Curtis, two great-grandchildren: Hannah Wallace, Alice Wallace, and one on the way.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 27, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo.
