Patricia Ann (Poteet) Turner passed away on January 4, 2021. Patricia was born October 26, 1935 in Cone, Texas to Olan and Christine Poteet. She was the oldest of four children. Patricia grew up and went to school in Lockney, Texas where she was very active in band and with basketball. She went on to college and played basketball with the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens. After moving to Lubbock, Texas Patricia was very active with the Lubbock Women's Bowling Association and served on the board of directors for many years. It was during this time that she met and fell in love with Robert Turner. They were married November 22, 1973 and spent 47 amazing years together.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers Layne and Dwayne Poteet, and two grandchildren, Jeremy Jones and Jessica Bayliss who left her with 4 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. Patricia also leaves behind a son, Ron Jones and wife Peggy of Shallowater, TX, a daughter, Christie Jones of Mineola, TX, a grandson, Christopher Jones and 2 children, of El Paso, TX, a granddaughter Kristina Boyd and husband Ryan and son of Lubbock, TX and a sister, Beverly Willson and husband Randy of Abernathy, TX.
