Nelton Dale
Chote
Feb 13, 1947 — Apr 10, 2024
Lubbock
Nelton Dale Chote Jr., known as Dale or Pops, was born in the Crosby County Hospital on February 13, 1947 to Nelton and Gladdys Chote. Dale was called Home early Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024 at the age of 77. As he has said for the last 20 years, "I've lived a good, full life", and he sure did. Everyone who knew him would agree, he was one of a kind. He made his mark on this earth as a loving dad, amazing friend, and super cool Pops. He will be missed but we are confident in his salvation and shall meet him again someday. Those left to cherish his memory are his 3 children Joe Ben Chote and wife Renee, Cele Stone and husband Evan, Dakota Mathewson and husband Garrett; grandchildren Tucker, Hadley, Racee, Quiglee, Brody, and step granddaughters Emmaleigh, Brittney, and Laura; 8 step-great grandchildren; sister Dannie Carlisle and husband Mike.
Services will be held at Idalou Church of Christ at 3pm on Saturday April 13th.
In Lieu of Flowers the Family would like to honor Dale by having donations sent to:
