Moselle Fredonia Jones, 87, of Crosbyton passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021.

She was born January 11, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Mose and Ruby Hill Hutton. She was a 1951 graduate of Paducah High School, earned her bachelor's degree in art from Hardin-Simmons University, and her Master's degree from Eastern New Mexico University. Moselle married the love of her life, Glenn Jones on August 30, 1953 in Paducah. He preceded her in death in 2020.

Moselle taught first grade at Bella Vista Elementary School in Clovis, NM for many years. Her talent and love of the arts lead her to serve in many capacities over the years including; President of the Clovis Portales Arts Council, President of the Artesia Arts Council, Paducah Arts Forum and President of the Community Concert in Clovis.

She is survived by two daughters, Jana Mabry of Crosbyton and Leigh Huntsman of May, TX; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren (and one on the way).

Moselle was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family suggests memorials to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1510 Ave. X Lubbock, TX. 79401.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 3-4 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Crowell Cemetery in Crowell, TX with the Rite Reverend Jim Haney officiating.
