Milton Dewayne Mensch, 80, of Lubbock passed away January 25, 2026. Milton was born on January 13, 1946, in Lamesa, Texas to Clem and Virginia Grubbs Mensch, and he married Wilda Sue Thomas on September 28, 1968, in Floydada, Texas. Milton was a cowboy at heart, loved playing dominoes, had a green thumb, liked to tinker with lawnmowers, was always willing to help those in need, and was never found without a Dr. Pepper in hand.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Those left to cherish his memory are two sons: Kevin Mensch and wife Whitney of Lubbock, David Mensch and wife Missy of Keller, a brother Keith Mensch and wife Mary of Denver City, a sister Kay Smith of Clifton, Texas, and his angel on Earth, Jennifer Abalos of Lubbock. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Christian, Olivia, Harper, and Adyson Mensch as well as great-grandchild Annie.
