Millard "Dean" Watson, 69, of Floydada passed away on July 10, 2019. He was born January 11, 1950 to Millard H. and Glenna (Brewer) Watson. Dean attended school in Crosbyton, Texas and graduated in 1968. In 1972 he received a BS in Agronomy from Texas Tech University. Dean was a farmer and raised cattle. Dean Married Brenda Moore at the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton on May 30, 1970.
Those left to cherish Millard Dean's legacy are his beloved wife of 49 years, daughters; Deanna Bigham and husband Troy of Lockney, Amanda Brocato and husband Tony of Wolfforth and his son; David and wife Julie of Petersburg. He also has his grandchildren: Sage Hill (Charles) of Amarillo, Bridgette Zarate (Sam) of Dickens, Courtney Edwards of Lockney, Reese Ramsey of Austin, Clay Bigham of Floydada, Reagan Ramsey of Denton, and Coda Daniel of Petersburg great-grandchildren: James Hill, Jett Brendle and Tatum Zarate; one sister, Sherry Robison of Lubbock; and his beloved heeler Lola.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Lillie Watson, Henry and Eunice Brewer; his parents Millard H. and Glenna Watson; sister Karen Crume, two brother-in-laws Harlen Crume and Ken Robison; son-in-law Brad Fulton, one great-granddaughter Maribeth Dean Hill and numerous extended family.
A visitation will be from 2-4pm Sunday, July 14 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Services for will be 10am, Monday, July 15 at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton, followed by a private family graveside. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Floydada EMS 109 N. Main St.; Floydada, TX 79235. Thank you for being a part of Dean's life.
Services for Millard "Dean" Watson, 69, of Floydada will be 10am, Monday, July 15 at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton, followed by a private family burial.
A visitation will be from 2-4pm Sunday, July 14 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
