Mike Smith, 68, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Ralls, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. He was born Clarence Michael Smith on August 8, 1948 to C.R. Smith Jr. and Louise (Hillin) Smith in Lubbock, Texas. Mike married Elaine Lohman in Lubbock in 1983. Mike was a charter member of the Ambulance Service in Ralls and was very instrumental in getting the Ralls Ambulance Service established. He worked with the Ralls Boy Scouts and Little League for many years, and was a member of Emma Lodge 931. Mike greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, and was an avid hunter. He was a dedicated and loving father and husband and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.R. Smith Jr. and Louise (Hillin) Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Elaine Smith of Burleson, TX; his daughter and son-in-law; Amy and David Tullis of Ralls, TX; his son and daughter-in-law; David and Matina Smith of Joshua, TX; his sister; Jo Linda Bishop of Palastine, TX; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 11 am Friday, December 2, at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, with burial following in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Visitation will be held from 6-7pm Thursday, December 1, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
