Mary "Chencha" Villarreal 88 of Lubbock passed away Saturday June 2, 2018. She was born to Sabina Gomez and Fred Hernandez on April 19, 1930 in Gonzales, Texas. She had three brothers, Mayheldo, Fred and Alcadio Hernandez. She was the oldest of three sisters Minga Urieste of Winters, and Sabina Mendoza of Ralls, Texas.

During her lifetime Mary was a member of the Guadalupanas and also the Cursillistas.  She was a former resident of Ralls and was a homemaker. She located to Kansas for many years before re-locating to the state of Texas to be closer to family.  She touched many lives throughout her lifetime and will forever leave traces of her beauty with each and every one of us. A Guardian Angel will forever be watching over us. Love you Forever!

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Domingo R. Villarreal and son Fred Villareal

She is survived by her son Luis Villarreal of Seguin, Texas, daughters Vicky Elizondo and husband Crispin Alejandro of New Braunfels, Raquel Villarreal-Ramirez and husband Joe Ramirez of Lubbock and Rosa Contreras of Midland, Texas.  Mary was blessed with eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday June 8, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. A Rosary will be held Thursday June 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Online condolences can be made at www.adamsfuneral.com
