Mary Josephine Silva, 77, of Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born on December 19, 1948, Mary was the beloved daughter of Luis and Felice Leyva.

She was a caregiver at Reeves Rhodes Retirement Center in Crosbyton for several years. She could always be seen working in her yard, or walking her dog "Thor" around town, and visiting with people.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jeremy and her siblings: Louis, David, Olga, and Yolanda.

She is survived by her brother: Ruben, and her cherished grandchildren: Jon, Brandon, Haylee, Hunter, and her five great-grandchildren.

Mary's love for her family was the center of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
