Mary Salas Cervantes passed away March 5, 2019.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls.

Mary was born on April 9, 1943 in Nell, Texas to Caytano Salas and Elanore Martinez Salas.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  Mary also loved dancing, singing and shopping.  She was a very passionate person with a very big heart and loved volunteering to help feed the hungry.  Mary was a great person and will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son Abel Cervantes.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Domingo Sapata of Idalou, her daughters; Cecillia Cervantes of Lubbock, Thelma Cervantes and Geneva Simcik of Dallas, her sons; Gabriel Cervantes, Israel Cervantes, Angel Zapata all of Lubbock, her two brothers Apolinar Salas of Lorenzo and Epifano Salas of Bakersfield, CA.  She also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
