Martin Sanchez, age 66 of Crosbyton, Texas passed away October 3, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Martin was born January 17, 1954 in Cuero, Texas to Bruno and Helena Dominguez Sanchez. Martin was a graduate of McAdoo High School, he worked for the Crosbyton Independent School District for about 35 years before his retirement, he was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he drove a Harley-Davidson motorcycle along with his Chevy Caprice convertible car. He loved going to car shows and small town events. He often listened to the blues and ZZ Top while drinking his Lone Star Beer. Martin was a very talented photographer and was well-known and loved within his community. He will be sorely missed.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Helena Sanchez and three brothers; Bruno Sanchez Jr., Johnny Sanchez, and Benito Sanchez Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his four sisters; Mary Sanchez, Irene Almaraz, Annie Sanchez, Rosie Mullins, and five brothers; Jimmy Sanchez Sr., Jessie Sanchez Sr., Joe Sanchez, Tony Sanchez, and Frank Sanchez.
Rosary will be 7 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton.
Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Wednesday at the church.
Services are under the care and direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
