Obituary

Marlon Leo Suhr, Jr. of Ralls passed away peacefully with his kids by his side on March 29, 2022. He was born April 17, 1950 in San Antonio, TX to Marlon Suhr, Sr. and Margaret Earl Suhr.

Marlon graduated from high school in San Antonio and went into a lifelong career in agriculture. He was a cropduster and rancher. He owned and operated Cone Aerial Spraying for 45 years. He enjoyed raising cattle, loved his ranch, Marcie and Michael were his pride and joy. He loved flying, hunting and fishing. It is said that "If it had wings or a barrel on it he loved it". In his spare time he enjoyed gunsmithing. Marlon was famous for his deer jerky, smoked deer sausage and his passion for a cold Lonestar beer after a hard day's work.

He was a very hardworking man with several passions, but what he loved the most was his family, and spending time with them. He was a very loving man that always made it a point to do the right thing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlon Sr. and Margaret Suhr, his sister Annette, and two granddaughters.

Marlon is survived by one son, Michael Suhr and fiancée Shelli Thomas of Crosbyton; one daughter, Marcie Suhr and fiancée Richard Harth of Buffalo Springs Lake; two brothers, John Suhr and wife Dot of Bandera, TX and Bob Suhr of Castroville, TX; one sister, Francis Logan and husband Gene of Copperas Cove, TX. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends, and his lifelong love, Jackie Malone Suhr.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Ralls Cemetery with Matt James officiating.
