Marjorie Ella Jones Blackwood 94 passed away Monday October 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 23 at the Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton, Texas at 10:00 am, burial will follow in the Crosbyton cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home.

Marjorie was born March 18, 1924 at her home in Crosby County to RR Jones and Bessie Leona Gaddie. She married Edd C Blackwood of Crosbyton after attending Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, her son Rodger Blackwood and two brothers Weldon Jones and Jack Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children; Edd Blackwood Jr. of Houston, Richard Blackwood of Arlington, Beverly Jo Self of Phoenix, Arizona, her sisters Arbrea Fae Jones Smith of Lubbock and Wyanza Nell Pierce and her husband Donald, her 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her niece and guardian angel Delvine Moncrief.

After the funeral everyone is invited to lunch at the Pioneer Memorial Building.
