Margarita Rangel Torres 70 passed away Wednesday May 16, 2018. She was born December 2, 1947 in Laredo, Texas to Guadalupe and Antonia Sanchez Rangel. Margarita was a loving mother who loved walking and picking up rocks. She also enjoyed watching the birds and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband George Torres, her daughters; Cindy Cabello and husband Juan of Plainview, TX, Elisa Arroyos and husband Julian of Fayetteville, AR, a son George Torres and wife Veronica of Elkins, AR. She also leaves behind two brothers; Guadalupe Rangel Jr. of Plainview, TX and Carlos Rangel of Mesquite,TX, two sisters, Teresa Garcia of Harlingen, TX, and Mary Rangel of Plainview, TX, 13 Grandchildren; Benicia Torres, JR Mares, Breanna Martinez, Brittany Murray, Bryan Arroyos, Bryce Arroyos, Brady Arroyos, Jasmin Larios, Jennifer Larios, Georgie Torres, Danielle Torres, Nicholas Torres Jr., Aubrey Torres and 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son Nicholas Torres Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday May 18, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. at Kornerstone Chapel in Plainview, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 19, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel in Plainview, Texas under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
