Reverend Marcos Casanova, age 75, of Corsicana, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Twilight Nursing and Rehab Center in Corsicana. He was born on March 10, 1944 in Odem, Texas to Jesus Casanova and Margarita Flores.

He moved to Crosbyton, Texas in 1956 and he married Lydia Mata on February 14, 1971 in Lubbock, Texas. He was the pastor of several churches in Texas and Oklahoma before settling in Corsicana in 1993 and establishing Centro Cristiano Corsicana in 2001. He was an ordained minister of The Family of God church organization. He was an upholsterer by trade, and was the owner and operator of various upholstery businesses throughout his life.

Rev. Casanova was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lydia; his sons; Noe Casanova and wife Angelica of Corsicana and Enoc Casanova and wife Samara of Fort Worth; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services are scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at Centro Cristiano Corsicana with Rev. Esau Rodriguez officiating and Rev. Teofilo Rivas assisting. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Templo Maranatha in Crosbyton with burial following in Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton, Texas under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
