Lupe Minor, 80, of Ralls passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was born February 22, 1944, in Ecleto, TX to Juan and Sofia Alvarez Perez. She married Ignacio Minor on June 1, 1961, in Plainview, TX. She enjoyed drawing and was a very good artist. She loved to do crafts and sew.  She was an amazing cook and loved to feed the whole family until her memory started to fail her. She enjoyed music and just relaxing outside. She loved all animals, birds, cats, dogs. She loved her children and all her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo, TX. She battled dementia and diabetes for many years.

Lupe is survived by her husband, Ignacio, of Ralls; two sons, Jesse Minor and wife Joanie of Citra, FL, and Marcus Minor of Round Rock, TX; four daughters, Maria Martinez and husband Joe Grudza of Ralls, Margaret Minor of Round Rock, Linda Hernandez and husband Jason of Arlington, TX and Irma Anguiano also of Round Rock; three sisters, Elicia Garcia of North Carolina, Esmeralda Camacho of New Braunfels, TX and Sylvia Gonzales of Slaton, TX; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Rosemary Minor.

The family suggests memorials to: Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave, 16th floor, New York, NY 10001; or Diabetes Foundation of the High Plains, 4211 I-40, Suite 201, Amarillo, TX 79106.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, October 25th at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo, TX. Funeral Mass will be held at the church at 9:00 am Saturday, October 26th.
