Louis Gonzales Sr. passed away on November 19, 2024. He was born February 14, 1959, in Houston, Texas to Maria Rodriguez and Joe Gonzales. He married Luisa Contreras in May of 1975 in Crosbyton, Texas. He loved to sing and play his guitar and enjoyed collecting scrap metal to sell.

He is preceded by his parents; seven brothers and seven sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Luisa, of Ralls, five sons, Louis Gonzales Jr., Robert Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Joe Ruben Gonzales, Michael Anthony Gonzales; his mother in law, Louisa Contreras; one sister, Ramona Hernandez; eight sisters in law; 3 brothers in law; 22 grandchildren and 17 great – grandchildren.
