Lenora Bell (Scott) Long was born August 4, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas to Jack Scott and Rosa Scott. She was the baby of three, Nell Watson and Retha Jean Turner all which preceded her in death. Blessed with 8 children; Yvonne Lone, Tanette Long, Tony Long, Breyon Long, there are 4 in which preceded her in death; Kevin Long, Gerald Long, James Long, and Beverly Long. 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

While growing up in Lorenzo, Texas she joined in fellowship with Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was very involved with the Choir. She volunteered work for Ben Taub for 35 years, and also served as a Sheriff's volunteer at Harris County Court for many years.
