Larry Keith Ashley, 81, of Ralls passed away December 22, 2023. He was born September 18, 1942 in Canton, TX to Kirby and Eva Townsend Ashley.

He graduated from Ralls High School in 1960, and married Donna Martin in Ralls in 1963. He farmed in Crosby County for many years. Larry loved to cook, and made thousands of briskets for his friends in Crosby County. He enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh, having never met a stranger. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 931 where he had served as Past Master.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donna of Ralls; nieces and nephews; and good friend and helper, James Delgado.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Damon Chance Ashley; two brothers, Bill Ashley and Wendell Ashley; and one sister, Patsy Little.

The family suggests memorials to: Animal Rescue of Crosby County, P.O. Box 561, Crosbyton, TX 79322, Ralls Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 51, Ralls, TX 79357; or a charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held on February 13, 2024 from 6-7 PM at the Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
